DocEngage.com ("us", "we", "portal", "DocEngage") works with full commitment towards respecting the privacy and confidentiality of the users or customers, visitors, and other users of the DocEngage services provided via the portal. We created this Site Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") to give you confidence as you visit and use the Site, and to portray our commitment towards customer satisfaction.
If you are registering an account or using the portal on behalf of an individual or entity other than yourself, as well as you are added as a follower, you represent that you are authorized by such individual or entity to accept this Privacy Policy on such individual's or entity's behalf.

We also collect and store contents such as Files, Notes and Care Instructions that you upload, download or access via DocEngage. Such Member Content may contain Personal Information about you or the family member, other person about whom you create a profile.
When you visit the Site, whether as a Member or a non-registered user just browsing, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website This Log Data may include information such as your computer's "IP" address, browser type, operating system or the webpage you were visiting before you came to our Site, pages of our Site that you visit, the time spent on those pages, access times and dates, and other statistics. We use this information to monitor and analyze use of the Site and the Services and for the Site's technical administration, to increase our Site's functionality and user-friendliness, and to better tailor it to our visitors' needs.
If you communicate with us by, for example, e-mail or letter, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information.
We may use your Personal Information to recommend certain resources or medical providers. We may use your Contact Data to send you information about DocEngage or our products or Services, to contact you when necessary, including to remind you of upcoming or follow-up appointments, and giving your details to the USER who is booking appointments on your behalf, and the CARETAKER allotted on your name.
We may use your data to customize and tailor your experience on the Site, in emails and in other communications, displaying content that we think you might be interested in and according to your preferences.
You agree that DocEngage may use Personal Information to allow your doctors to make appointments with other doctors on your behalf through the Services. We may also use your de-identified Personal Information to run (or authorize third parties to run) statistical research on individual or aggregate health or medical trends. Such research would only use your Personal Information in an anonymous manner that cannot be tied directly back to you
DocEngage does not collect information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor child, you may, in compliance with the Terms of Use the Site or Services on behalf of such minor child. Any information that you provide while using the Site or Service on behalf of your minor child will be treated as Personal Information as otherwise provided here
We share certain categories of information we collect from you in the ways described in this Privacy Policy, including as described below: If you elect to complete a Basic Medical Data form using the Services in advance of an appointment, we may share your Basic Medical Data with your doctors. We may share your Contact Data, Demographic Data with doctors you choose to schedule on the portal. We will display your Personal Information and Member Content contained in the patient or family member profiles created by you via our services according to the preferences you set in your account. Any information you choose to provide and make available to third parties via our services should reflect how much you want others to know about you and the individual(s) about whom you created the profiles and accounts. Please consider carefully what information you disclose in the patient profiles and your desired level of anonymity. You can review and revise the information contained in your profiles at any time. We recommend that you guard your sensitive information. Moreover the user who is taking the appointments on your behalf as well as the assigned CARETAKER will receive the information and can contact the provider to get perspective on the patient's health.
Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we will keep your Personal Information private and will not share it with third parties, unless we believe in good faith that disclosure of your Personal Information or any other information we collect about you is necessary to: (1) comply with a court order or other legal process; (2) protect the rights, property or safety of DocEngage or another party; (3) enforce our Terms of Use.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. For example, when you enter sensitive information on our Site, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Although we make good faith efforts to store Personal Information in a secure operating environment that is not open to the public, you should understand that there is no such thing as complete security, and we do not guarantee that there will be no unintended disclosures of your Personal Information. Upon your request, DocEngage will do all efforts to delete your account and the Personal Information in your profile; however, it may be impossible to remove your account without some residual information being retained by us. We have no obligation to delete any data or information you provide on a Medical History Form following termination of your account or the account of any medical professional to whom your Medical History Form was submitted through the Site.
